Fats provide energy for future use. They give us even more energy than Carbohydrates. Butter, ghee, Oil, and most nuts contain fats. Our body has the ability to store extra fat for later use. Fats also help us keep Warm. Too much intake of oily food makes you fat. it is unhealthy to be fat.
Minerals also protect us from diseases. They help to build bones, teeth and blood. Just like vitamins, they too are needed in small quantities. Fruits, Vegetables, butter, cheese, nuts and milk provide us with minerals.
VITAMINS :
Vitamins helps us to keep healthy. They protect us from Diseases. Vitamins help body parts like eyes, skin gums and nerves to function properly and remain healthy. A very small quantity of vitamins is needed, but we must have them daily. Lack of vitamins can make us sick. Vitamins are named as A, B, C, D, E, and K. We get vitamins from fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, fish, and nuts.

FIBRES :
Dietary fibres is found in the indigestible parts of cereals, fruits and vegetables.
Water is very important part of diet our diet. Most of our body is made of water. The body loses water when we sweat, pass urine and breathe out. Most food that we eat contain water but that is not enough. So we need to drink plenty of water every day. Lack of water makes us thirsty and our body gets dehydrated.
